Show Your Swimsuit Confidence – You Might Win a Lands’ End Gift Card!

Very few things show a woman’s self-confidence more than a wearing a bathing suit, without a cover up! As I talked about last week, I’m participating in Lands’ End Swimsuit Confidence Week to celebrate women of all shapes and sizes as well as educate and inspire them to embrace their swimsuit beauty and have fun this summer. To participate, I have to post pictures of myself in a Lands’ End swimsuit. While I definitely feel confident in a swimsuit, it’s another issue altogether to post the photos on this blog! But I always try to be a good sport, if only to get you to post your own picture and comment to win a $100 Lands’ End gift card!  So here goes:

As you know, I am a fanatic about healthy eating and exercise, not only for a healthy mind and body, but also for the fact that I feel good about walking around in a swimsuit. After all,  I live in Florida where the basic wardrobe starts with a swimsuit, several pairs of flip flops and a hat.

Even more important to me as a mother is the sense of self-confidence and positive body image I want my daughters to have as they move through their teenage years and beyond. Watching me try these swimsuits on, and then letting my daughter take the picture spoke volumes about my swimsuit confidence, so much so that my teenage daughter wanted to model and post her bathing suit pictures, too. To which I replied, “Over my dead body” (but it will still look great in a beautiful Lands’ End swimsuit)!
