Mom Talk Radio Goes National

Mom Talk Radio, one of my “babies” if you don’t count my four children, is now over a decade old and growing even more! Thanks to a partnership with Radio America, Mom Talk Radio is now heard across the country in over 50 markets. Every Sunday at 8 p.m. you can listen to the show. or you can listen on demand through an audio player or by downloading a podcast, both on www.momtalkradio.com. (Mom Talk Radio is the #1-downloaded parenting podcast.) The recently revamped website also offers guest and expert bios, show information, videos and how you can find a station in your area that airs Mom Talk Radio.

Now that the show is syndicated, we’ve gotten some press coverage from our local South Florida paper (read this article) and we hope to get national coverage as well.

It’s been an interesting and fun journey and I’ve met so many terrific people along the way. In 2001, while taxiing my children from one location to another and listening to “the purple dino” songs (don’t make me write the name), I realized there was a void on the airwaves for shows that talk about and deal with issues that are important to Moms. Hence the idea for a talk radio show featuring authors, guests and issues for, by and about Moms and parenting. The result was MomTalkRadio.

Fast forward over 10 years, and MomTalkRadio has a life of its own!  I’m so pleased to bring topics and issues of interest and relevance to Moms and parents across the country and even the world. I’ve interviewed so many amazing people, from authors to real-time Moms who always amaze me with so much insight and information. We cover such a broad range of topics, and guests are always so interesting and often downright funny!

I hope you’ll listen to Mom Talk Radio. You can also be a fan on Facebook, or follow me on Twitter @momtalkradio.
